I am a clinical psychologist licensed to practice in Tennessee (PSY#: 3705) and California (PSY#: 27581). I am also registered as an out-of-state telehealth provider for Florida residents (http://www.flhealthsource.gov/telehealth) and a member of PSYPACT (https://psypact.org/page/About). I offer non-religious based psychotherapy to adults (ages 18+) and couples who are struggling with a variety of concerns. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, grief/loss, life transitions, complex trauma, relationship problems, anger management, substance use disorders, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality. I am currently offering in-person and video sessions. For those wishing to be seen in-person, I continue to use safety protocols in my office to decrease your exposure to COVID which we can discuss prior to your first session.
My approach to therapy can be considered interactive and integrative. This means that I actively engage with you while drawing from a variety of modalities such as attachment/developmental, relational neurobiology, psychodynamic, internal family systems, Gottman, and dialectical behavioral therapies to fit your needs and goals. Our work together will be based on your individual characteristics and concerns to help you achieve the outcomes you are hoping for. Throughout this process I maintain a flexible and adaptive stance because needs and goals often evolve during the course of therapy. Should you choose to begin therapy with me I look forward to knowing you and building a partnership together.
